The Tambotie Ridge Lodges are situated within the Schuinsdraai Nature Reserve which is north of Marble Hall in the Sekhukhune District in Limpopo. The well-known Flag Boshielo Dam (formerly Arabie Dam) offers ample camping sites for those who prefer the outdoors. The dam provides a perfect environment for large Nile crocodiles and a haven of fish species including the world-renowned Carp species.

Game in the area include kudu, impala, eiland, warthog and rare roan antelope.
